Bit of a miserable morning in most Hakuba resorts with a cloudy sky and bursts of rain & sleet spoiling the party. High winds were causing some problems at Hakuba 47 and Goryu (see pic at bottom) with the gondola. This was the scene at Cortina a couple of hours ago.
However in the last hour or so there have been some bursts of sunlight coming through at some resorts so it may not be such a bad day after all. Over on Goryu they are skiing up above the clouds with some nice blue sky.
Not any great dumps of snow forecast for the next few days but fingers crossed anyway!
