-4C yesterday up on the Goryu slopes with a base around 40-50cmbase at the top but only 10-15cm at the bottom. There were some fairly severe winds which meant the lifts were stopped from time to time. Snow is pretty good condition, somewhat powdery but hoping for a better base soon. Weather has warmed up today and looks like next week (around 17th or 18th) will be the next chance of some decent snow.
Still only limited runs open – Goryu (just Alps Dai ichi pair lift) Hakuba 47 (line 8). Happo One is planning to open the Kurobishi run with access via the Gondola tomorrow (Tues Dec 13).
